I am native to Michigan (born and raised) and a graduate of Michigan State University. I love to cook, juice, read, workout, walk, run, hike, and get outside any time I can (especially if it’s in Northern Michigan or anywhere out on the Great Lakes.) I’m a type A organization freak that’s obsessed with routine and checklists.
I work full-time as a marketing and events director and am easing into working part-time as a Certified Holistic Nutritionist. I spend the rest of my time at my family’s tree farm where we are fortunate to have a beautiful greenhouse on-site where we seasonally garden and have the privilege of growing our own produce.

“Time and health are two precious assets that we don’t recognize and appreciate until they have been depleted.” – Denis Waitley
Wholesome Holistic is a holistic health blog through the lens of (me) a post-grad 20-something seeking to create a holistic lifestyle revolving around all things health, wellness, fitness, nutrition, working, learning, and finding balance—all while challenging the systems and barriers that prevent it.
I’ve had a whirlwind of not-so-glamorous symptoms ranging from inflammation, bloating, chronic nasal drip, anxiety, acne, chronic fatigue, acid reflux, and struggles with leaky gut. A few years into living with depleted health, I hit what felt like rock bottom mentally, physically, and emotionally. As a considerably “healthy” person with a generally “normal” lifestyle, I pushed myself to dig a little deeper and hold my health to a higher standard. This breaking point led me into a new found beginning.
I’ve worked with handful of traditional and holistic doctors, I’m convinced I own every health and wellness book on the market, I even earned my Holistic Nutritionist Certificate in hopes to enhance my knowledge in this area. I have made a ton of progress and have received many answers but I am still growing, healing, and learning.
I aim to share my knowledge and document my experiences as I heal and create a more holistic lifestyle. I hope to create a sense of community for others who may be struggling or simply looking to enhance their health and wellness.
I’ve restored much of my health through the power of nutrition, learned more about my body through extensive blood work and testing, and analyzed my vitamin and supplement regimen based on what my body needs to heal and repair my gut. I’ve surrounded myself with people who build me up and cut off those who bring me down. I spend time doing what I love and am always seeking to share what I learn as I heal.
I am 3 years into my journey, I deserve to be as healthy as can be—we all do.
